Masca, A Hidden Treasure: We'll kick off our adventure heading west, immersing ourselves in the small, picturesque village of Masca, nestled in the heart of the Teno region. Here, we'll have time to capture the beauty of the surroundings with our cameras and enjoy a leisurely coffee by the historic church, shaded by a centuries-old majestic fig tree.
Los Carrizales and its Natural Charms: Continuing on to Los Carrizales, another charming village beckoning us for a short walk and to soak in its atmosphere. As we ascend along winding roads, the landscape changes, leading us to the northern side of the island, where local agriculture takes center stage.
Garachico, History, and Rebirth: Our next stop takes us to the ancient village of Garachico, which rose from the ashes following the volcanic eruption of 1706. Here, we'll explore the old San Miguel Castle, the Santa Ana Church, and a park where we'll discover an ancient wine press, a testament to the region's rich history.
